"La meditació no és una recerca; no és una persecució, un sondeig, una exploració. És una explosió i una descoberta. No és la doma del cervell per adaptar-lo ni és una anàlisi auto-introspectiva; no és certament la formació en concentració que inclou, tria i nega. És una cosa que ve naturalment, quan totes les afirmacions positives i negatives i els èxits s'han entès i s'han deixat anar amb facilitat. És la buidor total del cervell. És la buidor el que és essencial, no el que hi ha en la buidor; només hi ha visió des de la buidor; tota la virtut, no la moral social i la respectabilitat, sorgeix d'ella. És d'aquesta buidor que l'amor ve, en cas contrari no és amor. El fonament del bon camí és en aquesta buidor. És el final i el principi de totes les coses."
"Meditation is not a search; it's not a seeking, a probing, an exploration. It is an explosion and discovery. It's not the taming of the brain to conform nor is it a self-introspective analysis; it is certainly not the training in concentration which includes, chooses and denies. It's something that comes naturally, when all positive and negative assertions and accomplishments have been understood and drop away easily. It is the total emptiness of the brain. It's the emptiness that is essential not what's in the emptiness; there is seeing only from emptiness; all virtue, not social morality and respectability, springs from it. It's out of this emptiness that love comes, otherwise it's not love. Foundation of righteousness is in this emptiness. It's the end and beginning of all things."
